11-02-2026 John 6 v3740 This Is The Will of My Father

The Gospel of John Ch 6 Verse 37 thru 40

37 Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and I will not reject anyone who comes to me, 38 because I came down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me. 39 And this is the will of the one who sent me, that I should not lose anything of what he gave me, but that I should raise it [on] the last day. 40 For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I shall raise him [on] the last day.”

In John 6:37-40, we find a profound message about faith, assurance, and the promise of eternal life. Jesus declares, “All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.” This invitation reveals the heart of Christ’s mission: to welcome everyone who seeks Him. It serves as a comforting reminder that no one is beyond the reach of His grace and love.

In these verses, Christ emphasizes that all who believe in Him will have eternal life. He assures us that He will raise them up on the last day. This promise is a cornerstone of Christian hope, illustrating that belief in Jesus transcends our earthly struggles and failures. It underscores that salvation isn’t earned but rather is a gift from God, available to all who come to Him in faith.

Jesus continues in verse 40, stating, “For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life.” This unwavering promise invites us to look beyond our circumstances and place our trust in Him. If we choose to believe, we are granted a divine assurance that we will not only find solace in this life but also experience everlasting joy in the life to come.

Dear readers, the invitation is clear: believe in Jesus Christ and embrace the promise of eternal life. This is not just a distant hope; it is a present reality that transforms our lives, giving us purpose and peace. Let us open our hearts to Him, trusting in His promises and finding our salvation through faith. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20

11-02-2026 John 6 v3740

** This Is The Will of My Father

In a world of longing, hearts entwined,

Where weary souls seek peace to find,

A promise whispers through the night,

In John’s own words, a guiding light.

“Come to me,” the gentle call,

“Whoever thirsts, I welcome all.”

No one cast out, no fate too dire,

In love’s embrace, we’re drawn up higher.

The Father’s gift, a sacred vow,

Each one beloved, here and now.

No soul forgotten, no heart alone,

In Christ, we’re gathered, and called our own.

For every tear and every plea,

He holds us close, eternally free.

The will of the Father, a perfect scheme,

To raise us up, to fulfill the dream.

So trust, dear hearts, in this decree,

For in His arms, we’re meant to be.

Eternal hope, a promise secure,

In the Savior’s love, we find our cure. Amen.
