10-17-2026 Luke 12 v0812 Holy Spirit Will Teach You What To Say
The Gospel of Luke Ch 12 Verse 8 thru 12
8 I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before others the Son of Man will acknowledge before the angels of God. 9 But whoever denies me before others will be denied before the angels of God. 10 “Everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but the one who blasphemes against the holy Spirit will not be forgiven. 11 When they take you before synagogues and before rulers and authorities, do not worry about how or what your defense will be or about what you are to say. 12 For the holy Spirit will teach you at that moment what you should say.”
In Luke 12:8-12, Jesus delivers a powerful message about the importance of standing firm in our faith and the role of the Holy Spirit in guiding us. He assures us that when we boldly acknowledge Him before others, He will acknowledge us before God, signaling the profound connection between our faith and our witness to the world. This passage calls for authenticity and courage in sharing our beliefs, reminding us that we are not alone in our endeavors.
Verses 11 and 12 emphasize that, in times of uncertainty or when facing challenges, we need not worry about what to say. Jesus promises that the Holy Spirit will provide us with the right words at the right moment. This reassurance is especially powerful; it invites us to trust in a divine presence that equips us with wisdom beyond our own understanding. The Holy Spirit acts as our teacher and guide, illuminating the path forward even when we feel inadequate or fearful of rejection.
As we reflect on this passage, let us remember that we can lean on the Holy Spirit in every situation. Whether we find ourselves speaking in front of friends, strangers, or even in moments of personal reflection, the Spirit is there to help us express our thoughts and feelings in ways that honor God. With the Holy Spirit’s guidance, we have the assurance that we will learn everything we need to know.
In moments of hesitation or doubt, cling to this promise of divine assistance. Trust that the Holy Spirit will impart the knowledge and words you need. When we yield to this divine guidance, we can speak boldly and truthfully about our faith. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**Holy Spirit Will Teach You What To Say**
In the gospel’s gentle sway,
A truth unfolds bright as the day,
“Who speaks of me,” the Savior said,
“Before the world, in love they’ll be fed.”
Stand firm, proclaim with heart sincere,
In every season, void of fear,
For every soul who speaks my name,
Shall find the grace, the love, My flame.
But ponder this, as whispers rise,
The Spirit’s voice is where wisdom lies,
In moments tough, when words seem few,
Trust in the Spirit, He’ll guide you through.
For in the quiet or in the storm,
A testimony takes its holy form,
Fear not the trial, nor the night,
For in your stillness, shines the light.
So lift your voice and boldly claim,
The hope, the truth, My boundless name,
For every heart that seeks and yearns,
In humble trust, the Spirit learns. Amen.
