07-15-2026 Matthew 11 v2527 No One Knows The Son Except The Father
The Gospel of Matthew Chapter 11 Verse 25 thru 27
25 At that time Jesus said in reply, “I give praise to you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike. 26 Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will. 27 All things have been handed over to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son wishes to reveal him.”
In Matthew 11:25-27, we encounter a profound truth that serves as a reminder of the simplicity and depth of faith. Jesus thanks the Father for hiding His truths from the wise and learned while revealing them to the childlike. This profound teaching encourages us to adopt a childlike spirit in our pursuit of understanding God’s kingdom. The irony is striking: the very individuals who hold titles, accolades, and vast knowledge often overlook the simple truth of salvation. Their reliance on intellectual prowess can blind them to the spiritual realities that God desires to reveal.
In a world bustling with discoveries, advancements, and an ever-growing store of human knowledge, it’s easy for even the most astute among us to miss the profound simplicity of the Gospel. The wise may navigate the complexities of life, offering solutions and insights, yet they often fail to grasp the essence of divine revelation that is available to the humble and the meek. Jesus invites us to approach Him with the openness of a child—curious, trusting, and eager to learn.
Being childlike does not imply ignorance; rather, it encourages us to set aside our pride and preconceptions, inviting God to work in our hearts. It is in this posture of humility that we can begin to understand the mysteries of His kingdom. Indeed, faith, like a child’s trust, opens the door to divine revelation and a deeper relationship with the Creator.
As we reflect on this passage, let us remember that the keys to the kingdom are not held by the wise but are freely given to those who are willing to believe with the innocence and wonder of a child. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**No One Knows The Son Except The Father**
In whispers soft, the heavens sigh,
A hidden truth to those drawn nigh,
From wise and learned, knowledge vast,
To little ones, the secrets cast.
“Come unto me,” a call divine,
For weary souls who seek to find,
In humble hearts, the wisdom shines,
Revealed through grace, in love entwined.
O Father, Lord of earth and skies,
Your plan unfolds before our eyes,
The meek, the child, in joy receive
The depth of truth that few believe.
All things are known, the Son will share,
The heart of God, laid wholly bare,
In unity, through faith we see,
The mystery of eternal divinity.
So let us come with open hearts,
In quiet trust where true love starts,
For while the wise may seek and roam,
In childlike faith, we find our home. Amen.
