Zebedee sons John and James request
Gospel of Mark Ch 10 v- 35 thru 41
35 Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to him and said to him, “Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we ask of you.” 36 He replied, “What do you wish [me] to do for you?” 37 They answered him, “Grant that in your glory we may sit one at your right and the other at your left.” 38 Jesus said to them, “You do not know what you are asking. Can you drink the cup that I drink or be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized?” 39 They said to him, “We can.” Jesus said to them, “The cup that I drink, you will drink, and with the baptism with which I am baptized, you will be baptized; 40 but to sit at my right or at my left is not mine to give but is for those for whom it has been prepared.” 41 When the ten heard this, they became indignant at James and John.
It takes some notion to understand that we must be last to be first in sharing the Good News that our practice inebriates us with by the Will of God knowing we can get down on our knees and agree with the grace of mercy allowing true forgiveness to be instilled as the beauty of living Redeemed. The message is clear that James and John zealous desire to sit at His right and left were not understood until Jesus explains that all of humanity receives this joy of the Spirit so Holy that one day He will clarify how the Trinity works as the love, faith and hope of Salvation. His love is everlasting full of strength, patience and understanding incorporating faith as a stronghold to live in charity where everything you give comes from the hope of having Jesus constantly by your side in knowing you live to share His absolute Truth of living forever distributing this peace, passion and purpose to be One with Him for Life Eternal. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty we pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. Silence for the prayers of others dealing with the war in Ukraine. In the Holy Spirit we pray our brothers in Kairos especially a prayer for our men in blue. Day 9 We pray for our niece Brittany who is a mother of four and 33 years old who has brain cancer stage four. We pray for Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Zebedee sons John and James request
Asking the Teacher do whatever we seem fit
Replying Jesus what makes you obsessed
Left and right in your glory allow us to sit
Know not do you the task
Drink My cup can you
Baptize as I without a mask
Saying them yes we can pursue and do
Drink yes My cup
Baptized by My baptism yes
Left or right of Me give not abrupt
For the prepared is it I confess
This heard by the ten left
Disciples indignant unable to rest
Jesus would teach them to confess
Not the first but the last
