1 CorinthiWomanans, Chapter 11 14 thru 16
Judge for yourselves: is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head unveiled? 14 Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears his hair long it is a disgrace to him, 15 whereas if a woman has long hair it is her glory, because long hair has been given [her] for a covering? 16 But if anyone is inclined to be argumentative, we do not have such a custom, nor do the churches of God.
Well certainly today we see that there are a lot of men who wear their hair long I included after 33 years of being in the workforce serving our military and gaining children’s respect as being a teacher. Yet we still struggle as a society to understanding today’s world why we would even believe that a women needs to cover their hair as much as be directed by men in every aspect of their freedom.
I don’t see argument here because I believe God has instilled in every human not just the ability to know right from wrong but to understand the depths of a mystery he allows us to live as our reality. Reality says that every woman, child and man are loved by God and given the opportunity to know salvation by the confession of Jesus as their Savior. We all know that women deserve the same rights as men and that our world societies as a whole recognize this but many still deny women and children this beauty God instills in us all which is to be free. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Soul of my Father Earl Wiggins. IN Jesus Name. Amen.
