“Your servant has killed both a lion and a bear. This uncircumcised Philistine will be as one of them, because he has insulted the armies of the living God.” David continued: “The same LORD who delivered me from the claws of the lion and the bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” Saul answered David, “Go! the LORD will be with you.” First Samuel 17:36-37

Sling and a stone Goliath thought was weak

“Your servant has killed both a lion and a bear. This uncircumcised Philistine will be as one of them, because he has insulted the armies of the living God.” David continued: “The same LORD who delivered me from the claws of the lion and the bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” Saul answered David, “Go! the LORD will be with you.” First Samuel 17:36-37

Then He said to them, “Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath rather than to do evil, to save life rather than to destroy it?” But they remained silent. Mark 3:4

First Samuel 17:32-51, Psalm 129 & Mark 3:1-6

A young man determined brooding with the favor of God has nothing to be afraid of as David so proved when going up against Goliath. All it took was a sling and a stone coupled with God’s faith, hope and love to bring down the biggest and meanest man many of them had ever seen. Saul answered with God’s Truth: “Go! the LORD will be with you” instilling in David the leadership of a king with God’s Truth as His protection, plan and purpose for the future of all humanity. To this day, David’s Psalms instill in mankind the freedom his three p’s accomplish for each and every one of us. We live by His protection to practice as we go about His Plan to unceasingly pray to find His Purpose in His Word we proclaim.

On the Other hand, Jesus asks us to live for God First comprising practice every day knowing a peace only Redemption may say. The Goliath of David’s time seems to be all around us in the excess a selfish life will create for death. The know of God First in your life has a plan to pray constantly asking God to pilot the charity we are to live in faith, hope and love of Truth. When we practice and pray His Word aloud, we find the comfort of speaking about God’s Word in any proclamational time we find in the life we lead for Him. What a mystery of Three to enjoy as One brought to you by the Salvation of His Only Son. David’s Three P’s lift up the Three P’s of Christ’s serenity for all mankind to embrace and understand Redemption’s freedom. Where are your Three P’s? Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray You will always be with us LORD. Prayers for a friend going through back surgery. Constant prayers for TD. Greg Bishop has our never-ending prayers. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. LORD from Psalm 129:8, I chant, “The blessing of the LORD be upon you! We bless you in the Name of the LORD!” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Sling and a stone Goliath thought was weak– First Samuel 17:32-51

Just a boy they may say
Of David before he did slay
Courage lose not dear king
Saul was afraid of the warrior’s wing

Goliath was huge by giant description
Laughing at David and his unknown convictions
Saul sent the LORD for David to pray
Shepherd’s stone to make the giant lay

Goliath sized up his fight with a laugh
Reaping his disgust belching his wrath
Ruddy handsome David seemed not to care
The LORD our God will protect us no one to spare

Both began to run at each other’s side
Grunting and sweating obliged by pride
Taking a stone David hurled it high
Inserting his temple the stone of God’s holy cry

Holding in his brow the giant did fall
David ran over to pull his sword’s call
Slicing off his head no longer to speak
Sling and a stone Goliath thought was weak

God delivered Truth to the giant so meek
