Gospel of Mark Ch 11 v- 20 thru 26

20 Early in the morning, as they were walking along, they saw the fig tree withered to its roots. 21 Peter remembered and said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree that you cursed has withered.” 22 Jesus said to them in reply, “Have faith in God. 23 Amen, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it shall be done for him. 24 Therefore I tell you, all that you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it and it shall be yours. 25 When you stand to pray, forgive anyone against whom you have a grievance, so that your heavenly Father may in turn forgive you your transgressions.” [26] “But if you do not forgive, neither will your heavenly Father forgive your transgressions,”

How strong is your beliefs? Can you truly say in the depth of your heart that whatever I pray for I believe God will deliver because that is his promise? How strong is your belief? It is the subject of everything Christian. To believe is to find a faith that will truly move mountains into a sea by the glory of God’s grace seen by you and me. It is the walk of Kairos each and every weekend lived. God’s special time comes to those who simply seek the beauty of living Redeemed. There is the need to forgive. There is the need to share compassion. You see it in the faces of men who are serving time for years on end from their sin but they can still be free from the beauty of Salvation. The name of Jesus brings this about unable to know unless you surrender without doubt.

I just finished four days in Avon Park Correctional which equates to about 38 hours of sharing time. We broke bread together even in their own chow hall receiving the food that they eat. There was no salt or spices used it was completely bland but still nutritional in the same instantaneous feat. We had rice and beans and tacos in tortillas no tomatoes mind you just lettuce and cheese sweet. We were allowed to experience this twice a meal in their hall as they were each watched with much fanfare and asked to eat quickly I recall. Their dinner table is fast and furious receiving food through a slot that you cannot even see the person giving it to you no face you forgot. Safety obviously is the number one discipline and you can see it in every step the officers take in keeping order not s soul can stop or fake. There was joy of knowing how to act as a Christian with compassion as their number one fact. To be forgiven was understood you must not lack as they embraced each other becoming a family to sustain practice, prayer and proclamation they will ultimately share in the ugliness of prison if you must dare. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty we pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. Silence for the prayers of others dealing with the war in Ukraine. In the Holy Spirit we pray our brothers in Kairos especially a prayer for our men in blue. Day 9 We pray for our niece Brittany who is a mother of four and 33 years old who has brain cancer stage four. We pray for Holy Mother Church. We pray for the financial need in our ministry. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

10-17-2022 Mark’s Gospel Ch 11 v-2026

**Your heart must not doubt but believe in receipt**

Morning next walking early

Roots withered tree of figs

Look Rabbi tree you withered squirrely

Replying Jesus God’s faith have

You I say Amen Jesus would teach

Mountain move by whoever’s faith complete

Sea thrown if you believed He preached

Your heart must not doubt but believe in receipt

Happen it will Jesus further explained

Pray therefore in belief to receive what is ordained

Praying in forgiveness for all grievances in dismay

Father Heavenly will forgive transgressions yours pray

Writers called copyists seem to add what was omitted that day

Father Heavenly doesn’t forgive unless you learn to say

Transgressions yours I forgive no matter how much I have to pay

Seems appropriate to share what some hold in dismay
