Your defilement comes from within
Gospel of Mark Ch 7 v- 14 thru 23
14 He summoned the crowd again and said to them, “Hear me, all of you, and understand. 15 Nothing that enters one from outside can defile that person; but the things that come out from within are what defile.” [16] 17 When he got home away from the crowd his disciples questioned him about the parable. 18 He said to them, “Are even you likewise without understanding? Do you not realize that everything that goes into a person from outside cannot defile, 19 since it enters not the heart but the stomach and passes out into the latrine?” (Thus he declared all foods clean.) 20 “But what comes out of a person, that is what defiles. 21 From within people, from their hearts, come evil thoughts, unchastity, theft, murder, 22 adultery, greed, malice, deceit, licentiousness, envy, blasphemy, arrogance, folly. 23 All these evils come from within and they defile.”
We spit out ugliness without even a thought. Just adverse reactions by someone who is lost. They will accuse and deny any responsibility for wrongdoings across all planes of society after they deny God more than once. We find this nastiness that seems to come from every mouth. There is always an “F” word that seems to resonate as stout. We want to forget what kind of life we should lead and pout. Potty mouths as my mom used to say doesn’t impress me it only makes the person seem uneducated and seeking greed. I call you greedy if you like to cuss especially in public where children hear your fuss. But the world calls you to enter the free zone each and every day for if it isn’t free then they wouldn’t be able to say things that are dirty in public as disarray. Call on the name of Jesus and learn how to pray seeking nothing in return as charity God ordained. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty we pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. Silence for the prayers of others dealing with the war in Ukraine. In the Holy Spirit we pray our brothers in Kairos especially a prayer for our men in blue. We pray for Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**Your defilement comes from within**
Again crowd summoned
They heard Jesus say
Outside entering nothing defiled lay understand my summand
Your defilement comes from within each day
Parable questioned at home
Disciples understood not what was seen
Defilement can’t come from something known
Realize your heart not entered only stomach to latrine
Clean are all foods Jesus declared
Only people defile by comments shared
Heart theirs are thoughts evil nothing spared
Folly arrogance blasphemy envy licentiousness deceit malice greed adultery prepared
Defiled by these within evils your heart impaired
