You must speak love if speaking necessitates the blame
Ephesians Six 18 thru 20
18 With all prayer and supplication, pray at every opportunity in the Spirit. To that end, be watchful with all perseverance and supplication for all the holy ones 19 and also for me, that speech may be given me to open my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains, so that I may have the courage to speak as I must.
One day many years ago we went and listened to Dr. Scott Hahn speak about his conversion to living the life of the first Christian Church after he himself went through seminary training as a born-again Protestant Christian. His walk inspired me to go see him at the airport in Ft. Lauderdale for he had left very soon after his dialog and we were driving home kind of on the way and I took the stretch off the Turnpike to Ft Lauderdale airport in South Florida. I think its 595 but anyway once we arrived at the airport I approached the counter of the first airline and asked about him checking in.
Well I guess because I had a tie on that boldly proclaimed the Lord, as she commented and turned to grab the mike off the wall pressing the button and saying, “Passenger Scott Hahn meet your party at security.” I was like no no no but yes yes yes as she pointed to security. I waited there less than a minute and Scott Hahn walked up. I approached and apologized for the impromptu meeting and asked him to autograph my book of his. His signature included Romans 8:28 and I thought for a while I would use that as my closing signature. It didn’t take long for the Lord to place me at the foot of His Cross pointing me to Ephesians 6:17-20.
17 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 With all prayer and supplication, pray at every opportunity in the Spirit. To that end, be watchful with all perseverance and supplication for all the holy ones 19 and also for me, that speech may be given me to open my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains, so that I may have the courage to speak as I must.
I speak of the Three P’s revealed to me by God in constant supplication that in our practice we must rely on the Word of God to feed our intellect of the Gospels Mystery that can only be obtained by this surrender of living God First. To practice is to listen as God’s Word penetrates even between bone and marrow allowing you insight that will be filled with the humble desire of living Charity in the Name of Jesus. This practice will lead you to prayer which will not come easy at first unless you direct your intention to living the Will of God in all things separating yourself from attachments and wanting to talk to God constantly. This is what Paul was telling the Ephesians; Pray constantly. Amen. As your prayer life deepens, so too will you want to proclaim the Gospel with the boldness of Christ himself unafraid of anything including the death Jesus calls us all to experience the death of self. Once you begin to proclaim, you’ll see the need to do Jesus anywhere anytime and with anyone unwilling to apologize for the Truth Jesus makes us all want to live the truth of forgiveness to see what we practice constantly living what we pray as we proclaim the Gospel for sins mercy to Live Forever loving Jesus. Amen.
