Wig’s Word of God Today 5-28-2012
You have not seen Him, yet you love Him; and still without seeing Him you believe in Him and so are already filled with a joy so glorious that it cannot be described; and you are sure of the goal of your faith, that is, the Salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:8-9
First Peter 1:3-9, Psalm 11 & Mark 10:17-27
I have had an unexplainable night filled with nausea, body aches and fever. Please forgive me for getting my study out so late. Yet, I feel the joy amongst the pain that is so glorious it seems impossible for me to describe. We’ve all felt this indescribable joy in the midst of sorrow, regret and distress leading us to ask how God can make us feel so good while living something so bad.
We should just enjoy His Glorious Salvation in all aspects of life’s situations. I know, it’s easier said than done but God does give us this Free Will to overcome by His Everlasting Divine Word to see us through each situation regardless of the incline. Soon Peter in Chapter 3 will remind us to show honor and understanding to our wives, keep our tongues and live life in humble servitude for God’s Will.
“Finally, all of you, be of one mind, sympathetic, loving toward one another, compassionate, humble. Do not return evil for evil, or insult for insult; but, on the contrary, a blessing, because to this you were called, that you might inherit a blessing. For: “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep the tongue from evil and the lips from speaking deceit, must turn from evil and do good, seek peace and follow after it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears turned to their prayer, but the face of the LORD is against evildoers.” 1 Peter 3:8-11
Dear LORD, we pray to always see You in everything we do. We pray to live in faith hope and love for Your Purpose. We pray for Natesha Davis and the family’s peace in this difficult time. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
