You give what God calls dear
The Gospel of John Eleven 16 thru 23
16 So Thomas, called Didymus, said to his fellow disciples, “Let us also go to die with him.” 17 When Jesus arrived, he found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb for four days. 18 Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, only about two miles away. 19 And many of the Jews had come to Martha and Mary to comfort them about their brother. 20 When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went to meet him; but Mary sat at home. 21 Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 [But] even now I know that whatever you ask of God, God will give you.” 23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise.”
When one begins to believe that Jesus can do anything, raising of the dead would seem only natural for in him God can do anything. Amen. He Constantly tells us the same thing wanting us to understand this faith that makes us move mountains. He wills us to die in Him not without Him and it’s hard to understand unless you practice what lives as the word of God allowing it to be a part of your daily action in Christ. You will learn to proclaim what it means to pray out loud as much as you will in silence this beautiful surrender to love, Faith and hope of mercy’s grace where all things become equal.
Thomas wants us to understand this beauty of surpassing peace that only dwells by the truth of salvation. All situations can be risen to new life where your old self sheds the need to be selfish. Jesus knew Martha to understand this faith voicing her belief that he could’ve raised him if he had been there sooner lacking that complete surrender that Jesus reminded her that would occur. The body had been in the tomb for four days even after 2000 years how could anyone not credit this eyewitness testimony written for all to understand and believe of his risen redemption. We can participate in this redemption and can be risen to a new life in Christ by simply confessing with your mouth your desire to know Jesus as your Lord and Savior placing on your heart not to sin but reminding you that a sinner’s life is the righteous man’s life for this surrender will always be between you and what God calls you to live in his holy will as a sinner redeemed. Amen.
