Gospel of Mark Ch 7 v- Five thru Nine
5 So the Pharisees and scribes questioned him, “Why do your disciples not follow the tradition of the elders but instead eat a meal with unclean hands?” 6 He responded, “Well did Isaiah prophesy about you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me; 7 In vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines human precepts.’ 8 You disregard God’s commandment but cling to human tradition.” 9 He went on to say, “How well you have set aside the commandment of God in order to uphold your tradition!
This type of attitude seems to run high in today’s world; everyone’s lips speaks of a God while their hearts seem so far from the mark of truth. Think of when you last honored God with your lips. Was it with your children? Was it in public while shopping to sustain life? Think of the last time you honored God with your lips but not your heart. Is there someone you pass daily that required this remark; I am unable to help you. Doesn’t this seem to miss the mark? You don’t have to give money to people who seek the handout in a public square. No, offer them the love of Jesus by openly saying a prayer. Maybe you’ll begin by opting for the Our Father known worldwide as something said to prepare a life of Christ as ordered while the person receives an honor of Redemptive restoration that may cause them to ensnare the life of helping others while ignoring Satan’s dare. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty we pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. Silence for the prayers of others dealing with the war in Ukraine. In the Holy Spirit we pray our brothers in Kairos especially a prayer for our men in blue. We pray for Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Why do this without tradition recognition
What is the prophesy of Isaiah
Written is it hypocrites you
Lips theirs Me honored a player
Hearts theirs far from the Teacher of Truth
Me worshipped vainly
Precepts human doctrines taught
Tradition human cling commandment of God namely
Tradition uphold over commandment of God aside set not sought
