Wrath produced by living the Law alone
Letter to the Romans Four 13 thru 17
13 It was not through the law that the promise was made to Abraham and his descendants that he would inherit the world, but through the righteousness that comes from faith. 14 For if those who adhere to the law are the heirs, faith is null and the promise is void. 15 For the law produces wrath; but where there is no law, neither is there violation. 16 For this reason, it depends on faith, so that it may be a gift, and the promise may be guaranteed to all his descendants, not to those who only adhere to the law but to those who follow the faith of Abraham, who is the father of all of us, 17 as it is written, “I have made you father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into being what does not exist.
Sometimes I like to ask my wife and soul mate in Christ a puzzling scripture that seemingly gave me problems of understanding until she repeats the words and gives an insight of love, faith and hope of living righteousness as called to by our faith. She is an amazing soul who lends to my daily prayer life as a catalyst for Christ’s mercy. It is here that we find such enjoyment of knowing a God that gives us the reasons to share Redemption as the only way to live. Toni, thanks for being there when God pulls our strings to live for Him First in all things overcoming by the mercy received. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Prayers for our children Gabriel, Julian, Alexandra, Jeffrey and Allen and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Silence for the prayers of others. Abraham’s promise not Law driven
World inherit descendants his giving
Faith from living righteousness smitten
Heirs only followers of the Law challenging
Voiding the promise faith not lived
Wrath produced by living the Law alone
Law none violation none promise remains
Faith is the key to living righteousness shown
Written is it
Nations many fathered
God’s sight concurs
Believed faith observed
Life giver is He
Dead called alive
Beings righteously free
Exists without lies
