Universal Utterings

I say this so that no one may deceive you by specious arguments. For even if I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing as I observe your good order and the firmness of your faith in Christ. So, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him, rooted in Him and built upon Him and established in the faith as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. See to it that no one captivate you with an empty, seductive philosophy according to human tradition, according to the elemental powers of the world and not according to Christ. Colossians 2:4-8

The Lord GOD opened my ear; I did not refuse, did not turn away. I gave my back to those who beat me, my cheeks to those who tore out my beard; My face I did not hide from insults and spitting. The Lord GOD is my help, therefore I am not disgraced; Therefore I have set my face like flint, knowing that I shall not be put to shame. Isaiah 50:5-7

What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister has nothing to wear and has no food for the day,16and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well,” but you do not give them the necessities of the body, what good is it? So also faith of itself, if it does not have works, is dead. Indeed someone might say, “You have faith and I have works.” Demonstrate your faith to me without works, and I will demonstrate my faith to you from my works. James 2:14-18

Confessing to Jesus our Savior. Now Jesus and His disciples set out for the villages of Caesarea Philippi. Along the way he asked His disciples, “Who do people say that I am?” They said in reply, “John the Baptist, others Elijah, still others one of the prophets.” And He asked them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter said to Him in reply, “You are the Messiah.” Then He warned them not to tell anyone about Him.

Jesus tells the Passion’s Prediction . He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer greatly and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed, and rise after three days. He spoke this openly. Then Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. At this he turned around and, looking at His disciples, rebuked Peter and said, “Get behind me, Satan. You are thinking not as God does, but as human beings do.”

The Conditions of Discipleship. He summoned the crowd with His disciples and said to them, “Whoever wishes to come after Me must deny himself, take up his Cross, and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My Sake and that of the Gospel will Save it. Mark 8:27-35

Colossians 2:4-8, Psalm Isaiah 50:4-9, James 2:14-18 & Mark 8:27-35

The conditions of Discipleship take on a different meaning to those who lay down their lives in ways people seem to have a hard time understanding why. Why do we give our shoes off our feet or find a home for a wheelchair veteran who’s trying to raise to small children with the strength of a child himself? When accidents lead us to injury, causing severe unrelinquished real pain, the kind of pain you seemingly lose your breath by as you stand and talk to a veteran who brought about years of pride and accomplishment helping men and women young and old to serve and continue serving in the US Navy.

The surrender is about finding people in Divine Time of Need capturing more than just the smile of a dollar or shake of a hand but the Works God expects from the thanksgiving we are to live in Spiritual terms and not the worldly desires of the flash and flair of today’s society; the world. To walk in Him, the Christ, we must abandon all fear taking traditions human and stepping into the real world around with open ears and needs of the many where the few become one Child of God at a time. The Spirit will open the deafness of ears resonating the Hymns of Salvation humming the shared right of Freedom. Freedom to find faith in your practice living hope in your unceasing prayers knowing how to proclaim the love of Christ in placing God First for all as joy and grace.

Living a life in poetry as this takes the daily practice of a surrender not a soul will take even if the mistakes or accidents create undue stress of death’s temptation sin will always try and drag you away from the pain of life’s growths leaving you broke, banished or burned in an instant but regrowth in Christ from admission of life’s problems makes His Repair permanent for in Christ is never disgraced from insults in His Constant Forgiveness that will never put you to shame. Even in excess we all have experienced the act of Charity of living in the growth God will help you get through every time. Root yourself in the practice and humanity’s ministers will come to you in times of refreshment as my wife and I lived yesterday in the restaurant we had lunch in.

Finding people of prayer isn’t as easy as it once was. I can remember the times of seeing people pray more in public especially before meals of any hour. My wife and I make sure we place God First in public not only by what our cars say on the back window but as importantly written on our hearts in the love of placing God First in everything we do for we know as the window reads; God First all else will fall into place. Amen. Here is how you become Spirit-led God-inspired Christ-fed. Amen. Practice what you preach to pray anywhere at any time with anyone fulfilling the constant surrender that awakens the souls around you.

I was awakened yesterday when I group of “Women Minsters” wearing deep red shirts proclaiming same as the key to life. Yes, to minister is the Key to life opening the doors of Heaven on earth in an instant. You too can feel it as I felt it with the ladies of Second Baptist Church by always complying with Christ as Truth to never deny. Amen. Thank you ladies for lifting our Works in Christ on Universal Utterings to the One and Only True God in Christ Jesus. May your Works be inspired in Him always as I look forward to the day I proclaim His mercy, His joy and His Eternal Life with all of you. Amen.

So we pray, LORD, allow our Works for Salvation be surrendered in every step we take. Novena prayers day four for Patricia S.
