Universal Utterings for 3-12-2014

Hear the sound of my pleading when I cry to You for help when I lift up my hands toward Your Holy Place. Psalm 28:2

When God saw by their actions how they turned from their evil way, He repented of the evil He had threatened to do to them; He did not carry it out. Jonah 3:10

Just as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so will the Son of Man be to this generation. Luke 11:30

Jonah 3:1-10, Psalm 28 & Luke 11:29-32

Generations upon generations have asked for and received a sign that reset sinful living that goes back further than Jonah but rests in the midst of humanity’s call? Jesus Reconciled every action of evil ever committed by every generation seemingly outweighed by the lack of shame displayed by our current generation? Is it a trickle-down effect from ages long past where respect for God and elders have virtually disappeared? Humanity as a whole as always turned away from excess openly evident in the king’s decision to immediately starting a fast upon hearing Jonah’s warning.

Today I witness respect in so many different ways that seems to confuse the results evident from kindness in a local grocery store more so the sin displayed across waves of media giving us instant gratification. Nothing seems to be worked for anymore as children and adults alike want what they want and they want it now. Fun and frolicking taking the easy way has deemed His Way something of the past as we carry His Cross high repenting to overcome the shame. The Cross is the Sign humanity can ever look to by bending at the knee calling out to God in respect of Salvation’s Truth. Jesus! Amen.

Pray with me to live repented. Dear LORD, we pray we repent and learn respect while teach surrender. Novena prayers day two for Marlene Carter in Hospice. Prayers for Kairos Prison Ministry of DCI#49. Greg Bishop has our never ending prayers. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. LORD, from Psalm 28:6 I chant, “Blessed be the LORD, who has heard the sound of my pleading.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I am surrendered in Christ,

Ephesians 6:17-20

Works of the LORD understood not– Psalm 28

Psalm of David refuge in the Temple

Twenty-eight resting against the Ark

The Covenant seemed less simple

Wicked took no interest of Truth to heart

The Rock would not be deaf to him

Pleading was heard his cry to trace

Lifting hands to overcome sin

Deeds repaid deserved in disgrace

Works of the LORD understood not

Hands of Truth will never rebuild

Pleading sound trust can’t stop

Rejoicing hearts forever strength fulfilled
