THE GOSPEL OF LUKE CHAPTER 4 16 THRU 19

16 He came to Nazareth, where he had grown up, and went according to his custom into the synagogue on the Sabbath day. He stood up to read 17 and was handed a scroll of the prophet Isaiah. He unrolled the scroll and found the passage where it was written:

18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, 19 and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord.”

We have to remember that when we begin looking into the Bible on a continuous basis, we will fine excitement, energy and expression of faith sometimes can start in the gutter as much as occasionally it starts for some with a gold spoon in their mouth. Many commit their life to the world building up fortunes that most say they can’t consume. The real way to return to your hometown is it’ll limousine for our day today environment beckons people to live in access for if you were to return to your hometown empty handed broke there will be no fanfare there will be no recognition.

This my friends is what Jesus is asking of all of us. He’s reminding us today that returning to your hometown or your own home is not for fanfare but for righteousness surrendered to love, faith and hope of Christ’s Redemption. We all know what the Lord asks of us yet we struggle with the action of helping those less fortunate then us. Return to your home with a smile of Christ. Call on him for the energy to be helped and guided along the path of freedom serving the oppressed, leading the blind and living liberty proclaimed by your prayer and practice of God’s Holy Word. We obviously struggle to understand God’s word but in faith His Word will be your freedom. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Prayer intentions. IN Jesus Name. Novena Day six for the soul of Grace Roessner. Amen. Precious Blood
