The Gospel of John Seven Nineteen thru Twenty-Four

19 Did not Moses give you the law? Yet none of you keeps the law. Why are you trying to kill me?” 20 The crowd answered, “You are possessed!* Who is trying to kill you?” 21 Jesus answered and said to them, “I performed one work* and all of you are amazed 22 because of it. Moses gave you circumcision—not that it came from Moses but rather from the patriarchs—and you circumcise a man on the sabbath. 23 If a man can receive circumcision on a sabbath so that the law of Moses may not be broken, are you angry with me because I made a whole person well on a sabbath? 24 Stop judging by appearances, but judge justly.”

The world stole the Sabbath slowly but surely taking away every aspect of living for God first. Even the Jewish community seems to live a relaxed life on the Sabbath washing clothes and cars while enjoying the world and its amenities. Sabbath wasn’t adhered to even during the times of Christ. He calls out the hypocrites and this makes them mad. Jesus knows he came to die for the sins of humanity at the appropriate time according to the will of God. This was eye-witnessed every aspect of his life became real for humanity and the miracles of knowing God would never cease as Jesus taught them the truth.

We see it in our lives where we’ve already succumbed to the world and its rules of engagement knowing we must keep pace if we are to survive. Yes, I believe this belief to be faults of our own inability to conquer sin. Nobody wants to keep the law even the lawmakers and we see those who walk the truth are far and few between because the excess of the world continues to amaze our ever-conning society unwilling to sacrifice the things we have collected seeking our own will in the light of one’s darkness. We must learn to justly judge and center our excess on the charity living God first calls for.

You can find the anger in situations that seem to call for smiles and jubilation. You can find disrespect in the appearance of homelessness where the shame of collecting charity first hand causes a disruption in the Satan like appearance encountered therein. Please don’t be discouraged by this. Saturday we were on our way to an event called “I thirst” where our communities got together and discussed sharing the gospel without fright. When you hear the words, I thirst, that once came and changed the life of a nun to a saint no one could shun we seem to understand then it’s more than a refreshment to satisfy your dehydration it is our one and only savior thirsting for the souls of humanity’s need of salvation.

We stopped to give the young man a shirt who seem to be shivering in the cold wearing shorts and no shoes yet the young man refused saying I had an agenda. I could see he was high yet I offered him warmth as a recognition of those who cared for the lost and lonely welcoming them into their midst to help them overcome plights of persuasion knowing most are persuaded to try the devils need to mask your being with drugs and alcohol as excess to kill your soul. I walked away from the soul unwilling to be attacked feeling the spirit of God to pray as I said God bless you and listened to his guilt and shame cuss me from afar as I walked away. You can hear the incident in my poem I’ll share today. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Prayers for our son Gabriel and Allen Thomas Wiggins. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Silence for the prayers of others. CORO-19 prayers globally. Holy Spirit and St Joseph CC & Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**What denied is shame untold**

I’ll pray for you

Name unknown

Your laugh is heard as embarrassment

Of letting excess claim your soul

Still loved by your mother unknown

What denied is shame untold

Thirsting for anger evils wonder shown

Prayer is steadfast until the tomb is called home
