He had to pass through Samaria. So He came to a town of Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of land that Jacob had given to his son Joseph. Jacob’s well was there. Jesus, tired from his journey, sat down there at the well. It was about noon. A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink.” His disciples had gone into the town to buy food. John 4:4-8

Let this be written for the next generation, for a people not yet born, that they may praise the LORD. Psalm 102:19

Anyone who sheds the blood of a human being, by a human being shall that one’s blood be shed; For in the image of God have human beings been made. Genesis 9:6

John 4:4-8, Psalm 102 & Genesis 9:6

The Well of Jacob spanning a depth of one hundred thirty-five feet cooled many a traveler over the history of the world bought or sold destroyed by earthquakes and abominations of crusaders where the Water of Life has tried to be controlled for more than a millennia times two. What we discover as God intends is that water not only cleans the body but the soul in Baptism but more so to sustain life to accomplish the Will of God in Divine Order. There is a beauty there many fail to recognize while pilfering the world of its love, faith and hope of everything goodwill stands for.

My grandmother from my mom’s side comes to mind often when I pray and find time with God First for she exemplified this Psalm in so many ways from practicing what she preached as much as how she called on God often in prayer she was proclaiming what every generation should come to understand as our times find the world trying to erase historical facts of God in every aspect of our lives. Today people can take the Lord’s Name in vain or parade around in clothes of temptation once only reserved for the private life of married couples placed as a spectacle only God’s Water can clean. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. Lord, I am sorry. Please forgive us as we forgive others. Today overcome spite in any surrendered Light. Day Four Novena for Lisa Booher. Closer Walk Media .com. Protect JSRW. IN Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
