Wigs Word of God Today 6-14-2013
Afflicted? Sure, but “not constrained,” “persecuted but not abandoned.”
We are afflicted in every way, but not constrained; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our body. 2nd Corinthians 4:8-10
Second Corinthians 4:7-15, Psalm 116 & Matthew 5:27-32
Sit back and describe your afflictions: underpaid, overworked and tired? Maybe these are just a few of the complaints most people have but are they complaints to God or just your lack of focus or gumption to overcome them by faith, hope and love. God may close a door but doesn’t He open another door to guide you to His Will? If you believe and trust with your whole heart, God will deliver you according to His Plan not yours but He asks of us to proactive in our pursuit of happiness by faith we can find the work He wants us to accomplish. Work where money is not the object but only the result of loving His Truth to be His worker. Celebrate God in every step you take employed or unemployed to be the faith lifting someone up to the Guide of Life.
Being overworked isn’t something we must complain about but treasure for in His Arms we contend everything we seek by the hope we place in His Word aligning with His Spirit to feel satisfied not overworked by our surrender. If we are to work for God in the job we currently have or don’t have, we must do it with our whole heart gaining the wisdom of charity to live for His Will. As we grow older we can complain how tired we are by the lack of exercise we give our bodies need or strike a pose in desires our body craves to be tuned optimally by the love we give our souls to be energized by God’s Truth. Stand not on the sidelines of life but in the midst of sweat and aches to gain strength to live our life for His Will of charity and nothing more. Afflicted? Sure, but “not constrained,” “persecuted but not abandoned.” Amen.
We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to embrace affliction by the joy we place in living for Your Word. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has our constant prayers. Precious Blood Novena day three of special intentions. LORD from Psalm 122:8-9 I chant- “For the sake of my brothers and friends I say, “Peace be with you.” For the sake of the house of the Lord, our God, I pray for your good.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
I am yours in Christ,

Bestowed in abundance Christ’s Salvation we believe– 2nd Corinthians 4:7-15
Our strength comes from Him
Not from the breath we take in a whim
His surpassing Power will never go dim
We have nothing unless His Truth we eternally swim
Constrained not in desires perplexed in our ways
Every affliction makes us grow in our days
Despair we lose by faith we crave
Persecuted or abandoned by the life lead astray
Feel destroyed by the way we lead our life
Struck down and wounded by the self-will of strife
Carry on in the Body of Jesus less you carry a knife
For in Him we are protected in our daily society’s fight
Manifested in our actions a body surrendered to His breed
Given up to death by mortal flesh unless we truly concede
In death we learn to fight for the breath we daily need
Bestowed in abundance Christ’s Salvation we believe
