Ways Mine of the Divine know not
Letter to the Hebrews Three v- 7 thru 12
7 Therefore, as the holy Spirit says: “Oh, that today you would hear his voice, 8 ‘Harden not your hearts as at the rebellion in the day of testing in the desert, 9 where your ancestors tested and tried me and saw my works 10 for forty years. Because of this I was provoked with that generation and I said, “They have always been of erring heart, and they do not know my ways.” 11 As I swore in my wrath, “They shall not enter into my rest.”’” 12 Take care, brothers, that none of you may have an evil and unfaithful heart, so as to forsake the living God.
Our practice each day is unlike other Scripture discussions because we can take just a few verses and listen to what God has to say. Then put the entire book before us when finished knowing we have lived God’s Will of discerning His Truth to display. Do you hear His voice as your own conscience? Does God speak in ways that move your soul to action? God’s voice will never be a false testimony for the Divine wants you to hear His love, faith and hope of living mercy seeking those who need Him most as we are reminded He didn’t come for those who have already learned what it means to follow God first or Jesus as the Christ. No. He came for the lost, the lonely and the languished and you my friend can find Jesus help you melt an unfaithful heart or stop evil in its tracks by calling out His Name hearts will not harden but listen to His voice. Amen.
What does the Catechism say about hearing God speak to you? In Paragraph 1777 we listen to what the Church teaches. “Moral conscience,present at the heart of the person, enjoins him at the appropriate moment to do good and to avoid evil. It also judges particular choices, approving those that are good and denouncing those that are evil. It bears witness to the authority of truth in reference to the supreme Good to which the human person is drawn, and it welcomes the commandments. When he listens to his conscience, the prudent man can hear God speaking.”
Paragraph 1778 continues. “Conscience is a judgment of reason whereby the human person recognizes the moral quality of a concrete act that he is going to perform, is in the process of performing, or has already completed. In all he says and does, man is obliged to follow faithfully what he knows to be just and right. It is by the judgment of his conscience that man perceives and recognizes the prescriptions of the divine law:
Conscience is a law of the mind; yet [Christians] would not grant that it is nothing more; I mean that it was not a dictate, nor conveyed the notion of responsibility, of duty, of a threat and a promise. . . . [Conscience] is a messenger of him, who, both in nature and in grace, speaks to us behind a veil, and teaches and rules us by his representatives. Conscience is the aboriginal Vicar of Christ.” Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day. Lord give them peace in their last breath. Silence for the prayers of others. Holy Spirit and St Joseph CC & Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Saying Spirit Holy therefore
Voice His hear today
Hearts yours harden not
Desert testing rebellion day
Tried and tested ancestors yours
Years 40 works mine seen
Generation provoked God wrath swore was implored
Heart theirs erring been always lacking the pristine
Ways Mine of the Divine know not
Rest enter not God forsaken shot
Brothers take care of heart unfaithful or evil begot
God living forsake rot seems to be their spot
