Universal Utterings for 11-15-2013

So it will be on the day the Son of Man is revealed. On that day, a person who is on the housetop and whose belongings are in the house must not go down to get them, and likewise a person in the field must not return to what was left behind. Remember the wife of Lot. Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses it will save it. Luke 17:30-33

Wisdom 13:1-9, Psalm 61 & Luke 17:26-37

Through it all, possessions will pass. All being the life of possessions. We’ll live accumulating stuff until it gets stored in a rented storage place. Oh it might get opened once a month but to only put more stuff inside. We won’t be able to go back and get any of this stuff once the Father calls you home. It’ll pass along the hands of life enjoying freedom you only receive in obedience to God’s Truth. I pray I’m holding on to the most precious things of my life. I’ve learned these things are my Bible, my wife and family and the few close friends God intended me to bond with.

I pray I’m holding on to them in tears of joy celebrating the entry to Eternal Freedom. But if I’m not I pray each finds their Way Home. When life offered me the ground to sleep on, I left behind the chains of belongings ridding myself of various vices learning instead to trust the LORD in every moment of reality. In a sense I stopped day dreaming and instead I lost my life in charity giving until it hurts but hurting less by His joy than by the the ugliness of Satan’s ploy. Place into practice the words of Jesus, “Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses it will save it.” Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to lose our life in You LORD. Prayers for my 2nd Cousin Jesse Ogden and his family. Novena prayers day three for Glenn Osborne. Novena prayers day two for Doug P. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has our prayers often each day. LORD from Psalm 61:9, I chant, “I will duly sing to Your Name forever, fulfill my vows day after day.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Vultures consume the persons who deny– Luke 17:26-37

Disciples would yearn
From Jesus they’d learn
History of Noah did spurn
Giving up their turn

Destroyed by pride
Nothing God would hide
Lot once denied
Sodom rained brimstone’s tide

Destroyed on the spot
Wife remembered not
Looking back before they rot
Knowing she shouldn’t have stopped

Turning away must be kept in Light
Worry not of things of other’s plight
Not to return to the field in the night
One of two will vanish by God’s Eternal Right

Yearning to know where the Disciples asked how
Learning the body is spirit eaten by Delight
Vultures consume the persons who deny
Who is taken proved we must constantly abide
