THE GOSPEL OF LUKE CHAPTER 5 17 THRU 20

17 One day as Jesus was teaching, Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and Jerusalem, and the power of the Lord was with him for healing. 18 And some men brought on a stretcher a man who was paralyzed; they were trying to bring him in and set [him] in his presence. 19 But not finding a way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on the stretcher through the tiles into the middle in front of Jesus. 20 When he saw their faith, he said, “As for you, your sins are forgiven.”

While we practice our way through the Gospel of Luke, pay attention to how the law teachers and the Pharisees came and watched Jesus heal those afflicted around them paying attention to how the citizens would react but more importantly seeking to find reasons to put him to death. We all want to be forgiven as we struggle to find reasons why the authorities wanted to place him on a tree suffocating him to the point of a loss so agonizing demise would be a relief from the delirium you would be feeling wanting nothing more of the torture you had endured unlike Jesus who would give his all.

Jesus sees your face today as well establishing a grace in your heart that is given to others from the start unafraid of the authorities or those who seemed to think they own your life for living and for living it large. Tragic death obviously so senseless brought to the height of disgust our society has openly paraded for way too long. The Looking Down Syndrome as I coined some years ago proves to be infecting our society with children who are bullied instead of nurtured to become necessary in a society of freedom. We want to rule by love as others deem it necessary to rule by force eschewing the beliefs of a utopia thought of as the Zion of God; the New Jerusalem; the United States of America.

No, God’s Zion is everywhere instilled in everyone to accomplish love, hope and faith of humanity where the descendants will be as numerous as the sands of the shore. We have to remember some of the sand will become concrete lost in the depths of darkened shadows unwilling to surface until one day flesh and bone dissolves by a world wanting to tear us apart beginning with the family trying to remove those raised by a nonexistent parent alive in their own mental illness until the fuse blows and the explosion causes death unjust death but death caused by societal woes the world sought to remove.

Many will try and answer the question, “How does this stop?” Do we screen every teenager alive with the third degree as parents struggle with how to comply. How do they comply with being there for their child? How will we be there as a society for the children who struggle being different designated delirious? I believe in prayer. We believe in prairie today my beautiful wife in so many Christ Toni. For way too long were asking this to be solved by ourselves instead of turning to the council the almighty where right in wrong is gambled upon the child’s life unaware estranged alone. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Prayer intentions. IN Jesus Name. Amen. Precious Blood
