Twelve summoned becoming the two-by-two healers
Gospel of Mark Ch 6 v- 6 thru 13
6 He was amazed at their lack of faith. He went around to the villages in the vicinity teaching. 7 He summoned the Twelve and began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over unclean spirits. 8 He instructed them to take nothing for the journey but a walking stick—no food, no sack, no money in their belts. 9 They were, however, to wear sandals but not a second tunic. 10 He said to them, “Wherever you enter a house, stay there until you leave from there. 11 Whatever place does not welcome you or listen to you, leave there and shake the dust off your feet in testimony against them.” 12 So they went off and preached repentance. 13 They drove out many demons, and they anointed with oil many who were sick and cured them.
You too have authority over unclean spirits if you would just believe. People of faith know they need no money to survive the journey of preaching but only the goodness one receives by the faithful who embrace you as one with Jesus. I myself have met many a preacher taking one corner at a time seeking to share the Kingdom of God by establishing a relationship with the one and only Messiah. Sidewalk prophets come to mind as the truth one would encounter with the Divine. I for one believe in this grace seen on the streets in the lines of many a face seeking freedom from ruthlessness where our pity should arrive you as the one who tells them why Christ can’t be denied. Can you say Redemption without prejudice? Can you accept grace by forgiveness? Will you share the Good News in light of others who digress with violence? Then you too can give each and every one no matter how dirty or clean love from you is seen sharing Jesus with a smile saying I’m sorry often without denial overcoming sin that is vile. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty we pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. Silence for the prayers of others dealing with the war in Ukraine. In the Holy Spirit we pray our brothers in Kairos the men in blue especially a prayer for Howard Richmond and Michael Olivetti. We pray for Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Faith lacking place native amazed Jesus and his kneelers
Teaching vicinity became villages around instead
Twelve summoned becoming the two-by-two healers
Spirits unclean authority given to cure and unwed
Journey nothing take instructed Jesus with a smile
Stick walking without belts of money nor sack of chow
Tunic second not but sandals that collect dust you compile
House enter wherever there stay if welcomed to preach Heaven now
You welcomed or listened to not on the spot
Dust shake from your feet as testimony much
Repentance preached not s soul had forgot
Demons driven out curing the sick oil anointing and such
