Wigs Word of God Today 8-26-2013

For our Gospel did not come to you in word alone, but also in Power and in the Holy Spirit and [with] much conviction. You know what sort of people we were [among] you for your sake. And you became imitators of us and of the LORD, receiving the Word in great affliction, with joy from the Holy Spirit, so that you became a model for all the believers. 1st Thes 1:5-7a

First Thessalonians 1:2-10, Psalm 149 & Matthew 23:13-22

Teachers come and go but the Word of God stays the same forever and ever. The Holy Spirit delivers the Power of Truth that will sweep you off your feet and as a friend of mine puts it, “once you feel His Truth everything changes for the desire to live in Truth persuades you to seek God in all you do.” My desire to know the One and True God finds me wanting to be in the face of anyone I meet excited filled with the Spirit proclaiming Christ’s Gospel with fervor and joy regarding not affliction praying I can live as a model for all believers but as importantly for those who need His Comfort in ears listening by comforting the lost soul for God’s Salvation.

The tears of joy are endless in these places where even the one locked behind walls of sharp wire due to their mistakes can find Jesus and surrender to His Truth. We become a rescue so to speak as Children of God who live out the faith to those imprisoned challenging them to educate themselves enlightening the mind becoming saved by friends Free and still locked up who bring about the joy of Christ in song, Word and prayer. We get down on our knees in prayer as I am now asking God to lift these “men in blue” up to know peace by Your Son’s Forgiveness humanity lives for each and every day. Help us and them to imitate Jesus rescued by our Rescate Prison Minsitry. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to live out our afflictions by the love we have for You LORD. Novena prayers day nine for Ocean Studies Montessori. Novena prayers day three for Laura’s mother Ada in Israel. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has our constant prayers. LORD from Psalm 66:17-20, I chant- “I called to Him with my mouth; praise was upon my tongue. Had I cherished evil in my heart, the LORD would not have heard. But God did hear and listened to my voice in prayer. Blessed be God, Who did not reject my prayer and refuse His mercy.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Turning them from idols rescued and behaved– First Thessalonians 1:2-10

Paul teaches to enjoy His peace
Sharing grace and joy in every place
Christ His guide the only One he states
A Father as One with the Spirit to relate

He always gave thanks for all
Who prayed for him to eventually call
Giving his life to overcome sin’s stall
His work produced the fall

In many from sin and pain
By Christ’s Salvation they gained
Endurance in Christ’s Blood stain
Holy Spirit conviction blamed

Going forth the Thessalonians prayed
Original guidance by the Paul who saved
Their life from sin by He Who Rose from the Grave
Turning them from idols rescued and behaved

God so True served and relayed
Delivered from wrath the Son portrays
Raised from the dead His balance stays
Eternal He returns every single day

The Christ The Son our Salvation we pray
