Truth is what Jews revolutionary cry
The Gospel of John 18 38 thru 40
38 Pilate said to him, “What is truth?” When he had said this, he again went out to the Jews and said to them, “I find no guilt in him. 39 But you have a custom that I release one prisoner to you at Passover.* Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?” 40 They cried out again, “Not this one but Barabbas!”* Now Barabbas was a revolutionary.
What is a revolutionary? Someone who actively became involved in conflicts within their own home that could be city state or country? Or is a revolutionary someone who is described as a killer ruthless willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish their goal? It’s tough to distinguish why one writer would say revolutionary versus an out right killer who was facing the death sentence himself. No, the Jews had to fulfill the Will of God not wanting their Messiah to be a reality denying Jesus to this very day. I think it’s important to recognize how God reacted meaning Jesus allowing the guilt and shame of all to pour from his veins until the very last moments when he cries out that it is finished Jesus gave everything to simply prove that the divine can be human just like you and me giving us the peace of redemption for when death arrives no matter the time the place or the reason once God takes your last breath we find rest eternally. Jesus fulfilled the revolutionary needs of the Jewish community 2000 years ago while he still serves the needs of everyone you know grasp his knowledge of salvation release your guilt and seek to sow the seeds of salvation where everything learns to peacefully grow forever. Amen.
