Universal Utterings for 10-31-2014

Those who guard mouth and tongue guard themselves from trouble. Proverbs 21:23

This is my prayer: that your love may increase ever more and more in knowledge and every kind of perception, to discern what is of value, so that you may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ for the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:9-11

Philippians 1:1-11, Proverbs 21:22-23 & Luke 14:1-6

How hard is it to keep your mouth shut? Think about this for a moment- talking and reacting becomes so natural for many it’s hard not to say something about something we see or scandalous we hear. Look into your life and see the moments God wants you to be silent but exceedingly loud by the grasp you take of His requested practice allowing the sand of an hour glass to fall without ceasing in prayer whether it is measuring time or not. The measure of perception allows this discernment to be taken naturally as God envelopes your soul to live His Will in faith, hope and love of Charity’s call.

You’ll feel this purpose for your life in the silence of your own heart as people hear the gladness that resonates in the path you lead in Truth. Conversationalist will come and go but the Word of God in action shows the obedient how to “discern what is of value” risking all for the Sake of the Gospel living Redeemed “for the glory and praise of God.” This is my prayer too: anyone who hears or reads the words I pray daily and chant for the Glory of God find Christ in their heart observing practice, prayer and proclamation as the Truth God asks of us all living confident for faith, hope and love of Charity. The wise see silence as discerning obedience living Spirit-led God-inspired Christ-fed. Amen.

We ask in prayer. Dear LORD, we pray to open what we discern in the words we share as Truth. Novena prayers day two for Mike Goudelock (heart) and his wife Debra. We pray for my son Jeff. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. LORD from Proverbs 21:22 I chant; “The wise person storms the city of the mighty, and overthrows the stronghold in which they trust.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
