Time spend permitting Lord suffice
1 CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 16 FIVE THRU TWELVE
5 I shall come to you after I pass through Macedonia (for I am going to pass through Macedonia), 6 and perhaps I shall stay or even spend the winter with you, so that you may send me on my way wherever I may go. 7 For I do not wish to see you now just in passing, but I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord permits. 8 I shall stay in Ephesus until Pentecost, 9 because a door has opened for me wide and productive for work, but there are many opponents. 10 If Timothy comes, see that he is without fear in your company, for he is doing the work of the Lord just as I am. 11 Therefore no one should disdain him. Rather, send him on his way in peace that he may come to me, for I am expecting him with the brothers.
I like Paul’s approach to spending time with his friends. It’s the Beauty of taking your time spending quality conversations with your mouth, brain and stomach. There is a divine connection with friends, family and foes that many people don’t recognize because they’re too busy with a life filled with the flashing flair of the world.
Paul reminds all sometimes the door will open for us includes that includes people who will oppose you bringing up brash responses to their own depiction of the Bible not recognizing the validity of Christ in the Old Testament or even honor Jesus with the love, hope and faith of Divine due. So, don’t let the others disdain you getting caught up in nonsense whether you feel intimidated or not take away peace and allow this journey to be difficult by his peace for redemption shared in salvation. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Prayer intentions. IN Jesus Name. Amen.
