Wig’s Word of God Today 10-17-2011
Thus will it be for the one who stores up treasure for himself but is not rich in what matters to God. Luke 12:21
Romans 4:20-25 and Luke 12:13-21
The LORD our God reminds us that material possessions are not important to Him or His Kingdom but the relationship you have with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. By placing your trust and focus on bits and pieces of stuff you accumulate during life, you surround yourself with selfish acts of pride and impress no one but yourself.
I have learned to shop for less and give away more. Seek His Will and let go of the past. Praise Him in everything I do sharing the Gospel of Redemption. We all have a plan to fulfill for what matters to God the most. What is your plan? Is God the treasure you share?
So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to store up treasures of faith, charity and love. We pray for strength to live life for Your Will LORD. We pray for wisdom and peace to understand our wants and needs for Your Kingdom. We pray for the children of the world. We pray this in the Name of Christ Jesus. Amen.

Your Life in Him Not Treasures This Day- Luke 12:16-21
A parable of the rich man storing up grain
A harvest he wielded from months of strain
No space to keep his thunderous profited gain
He looked for selfish moments of internal pain
He tore down the little barns erecting more
In size and capacity to hold his complete store
Now I am complete for many years to come
I will eat, drink and be merry everyday in the sun
God reminded him that he was just a fool
All you have done will be given away
God will come and take you to pay
Your life in Him not treasures this day
