The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water, so that I may not be thirsty or have to keep coming here to draw water.” Jesus said to her, “Go call your husband and come back.” The woman answered and said to him, “I do not have a husband.” Jesus answered her, “You are right in saying, ‘I do not have a husband.’ For you have had five husbands, and the one you have now is not your husband. What you have said is true.” John 4:15-18

As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him. For he knows how we are formed, remembers that we are dust. As for man, his days are like the grass; he blossoms like a flower in the field. A wind sweeps over it and it is gone; its place knows it no more. But the LORD’s mercy is from age to age, toward those who fear him. His salvation is for the children’s children of those who keep his covenant, and remember to carry out his precepts. Psalm 103:13-18

Let no one deceive himself. If any one among you considers himself wise in this age, let him become a fool so as to become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in the eyes of God, for it is written: “He catches the wise in their own ruses,” and again: “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.” 1 Corinthians 3:18-20

John 4:15-18, Psalm 103: 13-18 & 1 Corinthians 3:18-20

Jesus stands us all up in our tracks for He knows everything about us. Each decision made in Him or not. Each division we create without Him as our knot. He knew her plights of husbands many she’s would’ve like to forgot. But not what God asks of His lot; practice, pray and proclaim how Jesus is the Savior of the world many deny and rot. Let Him know what He already knows that the world sees as right over wrong that’s not. Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. Lord, I am sorry. Please forgive us as we forgive others. Let us help prayer by asking to pray with others in public what most feel in private. John 4 15 thru 18

Thirst gone is a gift from Heaven

Water me give said woman
Water draw no more
Thirst gone is a gift from Heaven
She wanted grace to adore

Back come with husband called
Jesus said with a smile
Husband have not woman would bawl
Jesus found no denial

Husband have not is right
Sharing the proof in Truth
Five husbands you did spite
Current one married not as proof
