Things evil desire not

1 Corinthians, Chapter 10 Six thru Thirteen

6* These things happened as examples for us, so that we might not desire evil things, as they did.e7And do not become idolaters, as some of them did, as it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to revel.”f8Let us not indulge in immorality as some of them did, and twenty-three thousand fell within a single day.g9Let us not test Christ* as some of them did, and suffered death by serpents.h10Do not grumble as some of them did, and suffered death by the destroyer.i11These things happened to them as an example, and they have been written down as a warning to us, upon whom the end of the ages has come.*12Therefore, whoever thinks he is standing secure should take care not to fall.*13No trial has come to you but what is human. God is faithful and will not let you be tried beyond your strength; but with the trial he will also provide a way out, so that you may be able to bear it.j

One of the first poems I wrote in my surrender to Christ is called, “You Can’t Imagine.” There’s a line that specifically depicts how people feel about the history of God and his examples across all means of human activity and desires of the heart. These trial and errors of life are meant to be there as a strengthening bond between you and the Divine Creator who allows the opportunity to know him by this surrender.

There’ll be warning after warning given to us in different capacities maybe by our doctor are our shrink maybe our primary care position wants to test your stink maybe a great doctor or philosopher will appeal Eternal Life isn’t a farce but beauty Christ revealed. There’s no way to know unless you discern Him first for it isn’t a show it’s Redemption learned. Amen.

“You can’t imagine faithfully the feelings of every soul we see. Some witness joy in tradition while others witness pain of God’s history. You can’t imagine where Christ grace maybe in the grain of resistance in the veins of faith blind to the witness of Christ sacramental taste. You can’t imagine the beauty unless one truly believes that Jesus Christ makes a difference to all humanity for he has risen he is risen indeed.”

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Soul of my Father Earl Wiggins. IN Jesus Name. Amen.
