God will not allow us undertake anything He Himself will not give us the strength and knowledge to overcome.

These things happened to them as an example, and they have been written down as a warning to us, upon whom the end of the ages has come. First Corinthians 10:11

Sir, leave it for this year also, and I shall cultivate the ground around it and fertilize it; it may bear fruit in the future. If not you can cut it down. Luke 13:8-9

Exodus 3:1-8, 13-15, Psalm 103, First Corinthians 10:1-6, 10-12 & Luke 13:1-9

We all think we can live forever living foolishly absent from God’s Commands. Some may even deny the need to be educated about God’s history of civilization opting instead to live wrapped up in desires of the heart escaping reality by seeking pleasures of a life in excess denying the history that has given them life. The LORD has led His Chosen People through different aspects of growth by the guidance shared with Prophets of old allowing the examples of living in faith, hope and love “upon whom the end of the ages has come.”

Paul allows us a comparison to the Children of Israel during their exodus explaining the realities of the New Covenant through baptism, spiritual food and drink expressing the interpretation in this way to point forward to the Christian experience. By no means does this give humanity an indication of a permanent pleasure explaining if mankind does not repent they will experience the same as those who died in multitudes by God’s wrath. “Let us not indulge in immorality as some of them did, and twenty-three thousand fell within a single day.”

They were all given the opportunity to eat “the same spiritual food” hydrated by “the same spiritual drink” from the “Rock” sustaining their need for water. This “Rock” was the Christ explain their trials were not of God but that of human nature for God will not allow us undertake anything He Himself will not give us the strength and knowledge to overcome. “No trial has come to you but what is human. God is faithful and will not let you be tried beyond your strength; but with the trial he will also provide a way out, so that you may be able to bear it.”

The Parable of the un-producing fig tree points to this fact because without proper guidance or cultivation if you will we as a people will indulge and experience death but lifted in care surrendered to God we can overcome any all obstacles of life by trusting in His Word. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to allow our lives to be guided by Your Truth. Carolina Emmaus has our prayers. Praying for Kairos. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has constant prayers. LORD, give us the knowledge of the Spiritual Rock of Christ in all of our decisions. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
