Then Jesus said to them, ‘Do not be afraid; go and tell My brothers that they must leave for Galilee; there they will see Me.’ Matthew 28:10

Acts 2:14, 22-32, Psalm 16 & Matthew 28:8-15

The Disciples learn from the women that Jesus has spoken to them and He sends word to go to Galilee to see the Risen LORD and learn of the instructions God has intended for them to accomplish. In the world of Biblical Scholars they call this a “proleptic parousia,” which signifies a literary device of referring to a future event as if it had already occurred and, therefore, exists as a present condition; as such, it expresses anticipation and assurance regarding that future event.

The future event of the Disciples would entail them preaching the Gospel to all four corners of the earth. Today we must continue this confidence Jesus instilled in the Disciples on the mountain as true belief in His Universal Power to overcome sin and lead our world to a never-ending happiness of faith, hope and love. We must learn to Trust Christ with every aspect of our lives and living the assurance He gave to the world of believers that we will practice, pray and preach to find His Promise of Eternal Life in Heaven. Amen.

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

Dear God, we pray to live in Your Assurance of Everlasting Life Promised by Your Son’s Gospel. Guide us to serve you fully LORD by our life as true examples. We pray for my children. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

God had given His Son the Universe to Fix- Matthew 28:8-15

Two Mary’s found Christ’s Tomb empty

Fearful yet joyful He had Risen

Running to announce He was gone

Jesus approached them proving nothing was wrong

The girls went near and embraced His feet

Don’t be afraid came the comment to speak

As Jesus told them to tell the Disciples to meet

In Galilee I will meet them at the mountain’s peak

While the guards went and told how things went down

The chief priests jaws must have fell to the ground

Giving them money to quiet the discovery from their lips

The soldiers kept the change saying He was stolen really quick

God had given His Son the Universe to Fix
