The odor daily smell
THE GOSPEL OF LUKE CHAPTER 5 12 THRU15
12 Now there was a man full of leprosy in one of the towns where he was; and when he saw Jesus, he fell prostrate, pleaded with him, and said, “Lord, if you wish, you can make me clean.” 13 Jesus stretched out his hand, touched him, and said, “I do will it. Be made clean.” And the leprosy left him immediately. 14 Then he ordered him not to tell anyone, but “Go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing what Moses prescribed;* that will be proof for them.” 15 The report about him spread all the more, and great crowds assembled to listen to him and to be cured of their ailments, 16 but he would withdraw to deserted places to pray.
I listen to people tell me how they have stopped everything they’re doing when they felt the anointing and blessing of God which started by them getting down on their knees. It’s hard to imagine the disease of leprosy to being an everyday occurrence of something we avoid as much as not speaking to those who’ve contracted this deep bubbling skin-rotting disease.
Jesus was unafraid and simply excepted him as he was reaching out his hand and touching him cleansing the leper immediately placing the grace of Salvation cleansing his body, mind and soul. What difficulty this man faced by being told not to tell anyone for the desire of sharing the good news the healing of your self always seems so important sometimes to release and let go around those who believe as Christ believed. Prayer will always be your strongest defense willing to go two places deserted daily in the name of Jesus Christ and pray for peace, passion and purpose your life over. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and Rose for me. Prayer intentions. IN Jesus Name. Amen. Precious Blood
