Washing others clean by service we can become everything God wants us to be.

Wash yourselves clean! Put away your misdeeds from before my eyes; cease doing evil; learn to do good. Make justice your aim: redress the wronged, hear the orphan’s plea, defend the widow. Isaiah 1:16-17

The greatest among you must be your servant. Matthew 23:11

Isaiah 1:10-20, Psalm 50 & Matthew 23:1-12

Learning to be the servant to others is the beginning of serving Christ’s charity in faith, hope and love allowing a closer union to God’s Purpose more than any other act of worship. To worship God in service requires the love of sharing how Truth has overcome the desires of self-centeredness, lust of flesh and the loss of sensitivity of being ridiculed. Instead of hearing people say, “How can you talk to someone so dirty?,” we must say to ourselves how can we not help someone in need. Instead of allowing families to steal family time in service allow the service to be God’s time of unity by your family’s example of Capable Cross-bearing Courage. “Cease doing evil; learn to do good. Make justice your aim: redress the wronged, hear the orphan’s plea, defend the widow.” Amen.

In our world of fast-paced desires we must learn to slow down and let God be God while embracing the arm of assistance to serve the lost, lonely and languished in the rinsing of Truth created by the act of charity itself. “Whoever exalts himself will be humbled; but whoever humbles himself will be exalted.” I pray people will join me daily in searching for divine ways to live in service by the brevity of my words. Let us trust in one of the prayers my wife and I say daily, “May the Divine Assistance remain always with us” by our practice, prayer and preaching. By washing ourselves and others clean in service we can become everything God wants us to be seeking His grace protecting His blessing. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear God above, we pray today we learn to do good by the service we carry out in Your Name. Praying a 4-day countdown to Carolina Emmaus #2. Praying for Kairos. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has our constant prayers. LORD, make us children of service. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Exalted by the humility of Christ served terms– Matthew 23:1-12

Speaking to the crowds

The Disciples listened in too

Scribes and Pharisee sit in Moses’ chair

Observe all things they ask you to do

Be courteous in your response

But follow not their example

Practicing to preach

Trusting God as ample

For they preach and do not practice

Heavy burdens they tie up for you to carry

On the shoulders of the people they’ve given

Not lifting a finger to help you marry

Yourselves to God as should be fulfilled

Not works that is righteous to be seen

Taking seats of honor tassels too long

Seeking salutation of Rabbi none to clean

Be called Rabbi not by fellow men

There is only Teacher to begin

Not someone called master to grin

Only One Christ from Heaven to win

If you are so great fall down and serve

The servant of the lowly will be observed

Humbled if exalted learned terms

Exalted by the humility of Christ served terms
