The favoring hand of my God was upon me. Nehemiah 2:8d

Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. Matthew 18:4

Nehemiah 2:1-8, Psalm 137 & Matthew 18:1-5, 10

We all want to be the greatest, fastest and richest thinking we’d never be happy digging ditches but the beauty of life comes from niches we live for God among our itches. We get them daily without regard itching for this or that seeking something that’s not hard but easy with a touch of lemon squeezes. We always hear, “you don’t know how good you got it for I used to walk ten miles to school all after getting up at the roosters crow to do chores for an hour before getting home and working past dusk sometimes without a shower.”

I know that was then this is now mentality has made our humanity lazy seeking not the faith God calls us to live yearning for instantaneous pleasures even in work forgoing the hope He asks us to share proclaiming not how great we are but living the charity by Christ’s life of sincerity. Yes, whether you dig a ditch and strike it rich or sleep in a ditch and need a fix God wants you to humble yourself like a child to be great by His favoring Hand of Salvation only Jesus His Son can bear our fair share. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray Your favoring Hand rests upon us by the humility we live for Truth. Novena prayers day three for John G. MD. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. We pray for Greg Bishop. LORD from Psalm 18:28-29, I chant, “For humble people You save; haughty eyes you bring low. For You, LORD, give light to my lamp; my God brightens my darkness.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I am surrendered in Christ,

The Christ in you as He is in me– Matthew 18:1-5

Disciples asked Jesus to fuss
Even at times seemingly asking too much
Greatest in the heaven’s kingdom lust
Thought of a prize someone could touch

Midst the confusion they must
Child of innocence gave them a rush
Calm as a child you must become with a hush
Humble child receives Jesus’ trust

To give as a child gives for free
Nothing held back all to agree
Receive a child receives forever He
The Christ in you as He is in me
