The Gospel of John 13 One thru Eleven
1 Before the feast of Passover, Jesus knew that his hour had come to pass from this world to the Father. He loved his own in the world and he loved them to the end. 2 The devil had already induced Judas, son of Simon the Iscariot, to hand him over. So, during supper, 3 fully aware that the Father had put everything into his power and that he had come from God and was returning to God, 4 he rose from supper and took off his outer garments. He took a towel and tied it around his waist. 5 Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet and dry them with the towel around his waist. 6 He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Master, are you going to wash my feet?” 7 Jesus answered and said to him, “What I am doing, you do not understand now, but you will understand later.” 8 Peter said to him, “You will never wash my feet.” Jesus answered him, “Unless I wash you, you will have no inheritance with me.” 9 Simon Peter said to him, “Master, then not only my feet, but my hands and head as well.” 10 Jesus said to him, “Whoever has bathed has no need except to have his feet washed, for he is clean all over; so you are clean, but not all.” 11 For he knew who would betray him; for this reason, he said, “Not all of you are clean.”
Many times in humility I find I must let the word of God speak for itself for the Lord anoints my soul to take daily his word off the shelf. So today I do just that and recognition of keeping my daily study humble by fact and today is no different. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Prayers for our son Gabriel, Alexandra Wiggins Stern and Allen Thomas Wiggins. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Silence for the prayers of others. CORO-19 prayers globally. Holy Spirit and St Joseph CC & Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**Teaching moment humble pie man**
Humility taught without a thought
His end would eliminate sin
Feet washing feat understood not
God’s Son fully man
Judas induced by the Devil
God’s Will had a plan
Power His a soul of Divine level
Teaching moment humble pie man
Waist his wrapped towel water basin filled
One-by-one disciples feet dirty cleaned by hand
Peter the Simon tried to refuse his nature still
Feet mine wash never as he took his stand
Now understand not what truly is the plan of the Son
Later understand what we all must do to comprehend my ways
Me inheritance not unless you partake in this fun
My feet hands and head too Peter the Simon said in a daze he couldn’t shun
Clean all not shown
Jesus replied humble
His betrayer spot known
Reason He couldn’t stumble
