Sword we kill the soul’s death you fed

THE GOSPEL OF LUKE CHAPTER 22 47 THRU 53

47 While he was still speaking, a crowd approached and in front was one of the Twelve, a man named Judas. He went up to Jesus to kiss him. 48 Jesus said to him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?” 49 His disciples realized what was about to happen, and they asked, “Lord, shall we strike with a sword?” 50 And one of them struck the high priest’s servant and cut off his right ear. 51 But Jesus said in reply, “Stop, no more of this!” Then he touched the servant’s ear and healed him. 52 And Jesus said to the chief priests and temple guards and elders who had come for him, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs? 53 Day after day I was with you in the temple area, and you did not seize me; but this is your hour, the time for the power of darkness.”

The process of being given up for another’s appetite of excess excreting the toxins we consume thinking God has given us this ability to right the wrong when it comes to Salvation where we catapult our swords of destruction towards anything that doesn’t agree. Judas has surely been the topic of many a Theologian yet his action was recorded only slightly where betrayal came at an instant not planned as much as put into action. Only God knows what he was thinking or who had possessed him before he turned on Christ departing the Table where Jesus had nourished his friends to pray and pray some more. There’s not the indication of who was in Judas’ soul for delivering the Messiah had already been foretold and Judas was encrypted with such a task God trusted as fact.

Amen.

Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Prayer intentions. Silence for the prayers of others. In Jesus Name. Amen. Precious Blood
