Sweet smelling child
The Gospel of John Twelve One thru Three
1 Six days before Passover Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. 2 They gave a dinner for him there, and Martha served, while Lazarus was one of those reclining at table with him. 3 Mary took a liter of costly perfumed oil made from genuine aromatic nard and anointed the feet of Jesus and dried them with her hair; the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.
There must be a time in all of our lives where we seem to look into the word of God and wonder what it must’ve been like to be there. I can see Martha moving about and preparing a meal knowing that during this time it would’ve been very simple bread and oil and wine. What seemed out of the ordinary was the way MARY reacted with a bottle of costly perfume wanting to do something special for the man that brought her brother back to life. Seems sort of natural to me wanting to give your best to those you love the most and sometimes this is done in ventures of codes or something might represent someone you love even when you know that love isn’t returned left dangling immature.
Naturally when you give yourself to the Lord completely you find yourself calling out to him more and more and more much like the costly perfume you’re willing to spill everything you have for him to be recognized as the truth of life eternal. Many times others will get up and run away as you learn of your true friendship with those who care for you. Please, you know how many time people want to assume things as I beg people to be patient and simply listen for what God does to you by the whispers of his poetry.
These last few days have given way to healing and a direction of how God wants you to follow even in grace you will find so much forgiveness that your day will smile and giving praise finding what he wants for you in his holy will; the will of God.
Side note Cielo is healing as our little puppy continues to get better. Yesterday Toni and I were talking about her theory of Cielo running through a fence where a barbed wire fence is located along the bottom of our pasture which is around 75 yards long that she chases rabbits in and my wife’s belief was she chase the rabbit through the fence and was caught by the barb wire. The more I look at the situation the more I believe this is true because of the way it punctured over her eye and her neck under her had a hard scrape that seem to be neck round and small barbed holes with a couple of deep ones and I can see her running at full speed chasing the rabbits who run right through the fence and she followed getting caught luckily not breaking her neck but I’m sure causing her to fall but she picked her self back up and ran after the rabbit still until she realized she was hurt. This was about 50 yards away from where she ran into the fence we believe. We’re going to search for hair along the barbed wire today. Stay tuned as Cielo continues to heal praise God. Amen.

Perfume thought defiled
Jesus feet smiled
Hair hers dried
Stinking feet denied
Air pungent cried
