Universal Utterings for 12-17-2014

One who is full spurns honey; but to the hungry, any bitter thing is sweet. Proverbs 27:7

For He rescues the poor when they cry out, the oppressed who have no one to help. He shows pity to the needy and the poor and saves the lives of the poor. From extortion and violence He Redeems them, for precious is their blood in His sight. Psalm 72:12-14

Psalm 72:12-14 , Proverbs 27:7 & Matthew 1:1-17

Living a life of piety means you spurn the sin of excess enjoying the sweet creations of God’s green earth while searching for the lost, lonely and languished to share even the bitter morsels left-over without a care. The sweetest times of serving God are in the streets effecting nutritional intake of those who have none no matter the reason. Seeing the eyes of the hungry makes my stomach sour and I often search out those who are less fortunate than me. We seem to recognize the need to give more during the Christmas season but I implore you to search out the hungry all year long.

I think it makes me see the life of the hungry as something I’ve experienced before wasting away with one meal a day I learned to find food for survival yet all the while finding God in the eyes of strangers giving food or offering assistance or homeless sharing angelic conversations with the alike. We see the angels of God in every nook and cranny God created instilling a complete surrender to the life of love, hope and faith of Charity’s New Beginning obedient to care obedient to listen obedient to be there obedient to answer petitions. Hungry or poor we answer to God’s Mission. Amen.

We ask in prayer. Dear LORD, we pray to be God’s Mission. We pray for my son Jeff and his mother Lisa. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca.  LORD from Proverbs 27:7 I chant; “One who is full spurns honey; but to the hungry, any bitter thing is sweet.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
