Letter to the Hebrews Ten v- 32 thru 36

32 Remember the days past when, after you had been enlightened, you endured a great contest of suffering. 33 At times you were publicly exposed to abuse and affliction; at other times you associated yourselves with those so treated. 34 You even joined in the sufferings of those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, knowing that you had a better and lasting possession. 35 Therefore, do not throw away your confidence; it will have great recompense. 36 You need endurance to do the will of God and receive what he has promised.

God’s special time can mean so much to so many different people finding the joy of following what Jesus has asked us to do and so many different examples where being with God is sharing his redemption of life eternal. Today Paul speaks of this joy even more so when we experienced suffering so great as we endure to be enlightened by the beauty of living for Jesus Christ. Kairos is a Prison Ministry I have been participating in now for a number of years enjoying the opportunity to abide by the command you visited me when I was in prison. The acceptance and circumstance of knowing you will be giving up your possessions to enter this location behind barbed wire’s end of slamming prison metal doors you become one of them opening yourself up and literally allowing your very being to be exposed to those who are accepting the judgment given to them by our society and the need to overcome and be forgiven as well as to say I’m sorry asking for forgiveness.

The Prison Ministry brings about a joy of living God’s special time as the meaning of Kairos. It is been publicly exposed accepting the opportunity to help those with open ears and complete sincerity of experiencing Christ that has overcome the history of abuse. This moment in time is a revelation to the prisoners who find we we’re just as close to seeing these white walls of retribution by a society we embrace and love as our home where natural order we learn is living God first in Jesus. I gave a talk on problem-solving as I walked around and acted like a bully because they come in all sizes and I asked how one approaches this type of vulgarity in many cases as I went on to explain and use my voice to emphasize words our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ taught us in the Lord’s prayer and other scripture readings. Afterwards one of the inmates at my table asked me to tell the people he hurt he was sorry and he knows what it means to feel remorse and to please forgive him for taking the items out of your home. This is God’s special time where the endurance he gives you allows you to live the will of God and we receive what he has promised living redeemed by our confession in Jesus Christ. To anyone who has been abused by any crime we pray to forgive as we have forgiven our perpetrators from the emotional abuse of our past. Please forgive as the Father forgives you will find freedom that last and last and last and last and last Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty we pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day. Lord give them peace in their last breath. Silence for the prayers of others. In the Holy Spirit we pray brothers in Kairos the men in blue. We pray for Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
