Universal Utterings for 2-18-2015

Then they sat down upon the ground with him seven days and seven nights, but none of them spoke a word to him; for they saw how great was his suffering. Job 2:13

Rend your hearts, not your garments, and return to the LORD, your God, For He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love, and relenting in punishment. Joel 2:13

When you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you may not appear to be fasting, except to your Father who is hidden. And your Father who sees what is hidden will repay you. Matthew 6:17-18

Job 2:11-13, Joel 2:12-18 & Matthew 6:1-18

Sometimes we just need our friends to sit with us and listen to our Spirit accept God’s Will while others respect the need for suffering in the midst of turmoil allowing the growth of one’s soul attain the unity God is asking us to receive. Most times this era of our life is made silent to reflect as much as groan from whatever pain God has allowed you to bring yourself to. We find in life that God brings most to their knees by forgetting to be thankful daily less you Salvation to pray unceasingly over everything you do.

They saw how great was his suffering” and as friends helped heal by their presence even though it was silent encouraging support when Job needed it most. Job remains steadfast in love for God using misery to maintain a forgiving attitude remaining in a fast that would take him home to the footsteps of blessing. As your fast begins today over Lent, allow grieving to guide you to grace of giving up something that calls your attention to Christ and His Suffering that set you free- set humanity free! Amen.

We ask in prayer. Dear LORD, we pray for a good fast reflecting on Charity. Novena prayers Day five for our Run for Life team. Prayers for Kairos Prison #50. Prayers for my son Jeff. Prayers for Dr. Cruz†Peluca.  LORD from Job 2:11f I chant; “They met and journeyed together to give him sympathy and comfort.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20

Job 2 11 thru 13 Suffering silent sternly

Friends three journeyed

Comfort sympathy provided

Together they worried

Job never defiant

Recognition was biased

Sore eye mercy

Loud weeping compliant

Dust air flurry

Thrown in disgust

Worry upon worthy

Seven-day meeting dust

Suffering silent sternly
