The
Gospel of John Chapter Three Five thru Eight
5 Jesus
answered, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God
without being born of water and Spirit.6 What is born of flesh is flesh and what is born of spirit
is spirit.7 Do not be
amazed that I told you, ‘You must be born from above.’ 8 The wind blows where it wills, and you can hear the
sound it makes, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes; so it
is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
When I first began talking to people unknown, I spoke of the
spirit given to us through our bath of righteousness allowing us a peace that many
seem to shun for reasons unknown yet visible in the WALK we each take and
portray for all to see. Sometimes I wonder why this harmony does not enter the
souls of each and every human who takes the leap of faith and confirms
themselves as one who believes in God’s kingdom. I know I know there is too
much in the world to overcome yet you can see people around you who places
first the God who gave his only son for our sins if we only believe in the
eyewitness account of each miracle of His endured passion rising after death
seen.
I continue to struggle with those around us who don’t
believe as I pray for their souls in the midst of silence people around are
unbeknownst of in the smile of grace. What an amazing feeling to be known as
someone in the spirit a ghost of clemency, character and celebratory many would
say seems absent yet opens doors with his wind we can’t feel yet we hear the
squeak of the hinge. Today I asked for prayers for a very special man that
heard the door swinging by the grace he encountered living a life of Jesus.
This is my brother-in-law Roy. I asked him to go to an Emmaus
with me in New Jersey and he became actively involved with the ministry there.
His son became actively involved as well and found more joy in serving the Lord
with brothers and sisters just like you and me. I did not know him before this
time but I watched the light of grace illuminate his being with such elegance child
like evident for I just knew he felt and lived the same salvation we were all
baptized in to. My friends he is struggling with a brain tumor that was removed
and has returned. He is in the hospital now we are praying for Alicia his wife
who is at his side and has been taking care of him relentlessly. Let us pray
for Roy and all of those who are struggling with cancer in any sort of way.
Amen
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord.
I believe You died and rose for me. Prayer intentions. Prayers for my son Allen
Thomas Wiggins. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Silence for the prayers of others.

Name we pray. Amen.
