Spirit led to a devil tempted desert
Gospel of Matthew Ch 4 v- One thru Four
1 Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. 2 He fasted for forty days and forty nights, and afterwards he was hungry. 3 The tempter approached and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become loaves of bread.” 4 He said in reply, “It is written: ‘One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.’”
Devil tempted? Aren’t you? Look around you- do you see the Devil tempting you in the items you have accumulated? I often wonder why we have so much stuff. Just stuff. Kind of like the paperwork strewn across the desk we call home- home to breathe the presence of Jesus into our lives a table to place all our regrets shown. Here, we learn to fast from the things that consume our being our righteousness blown seeking peace, passion and persistence to love with all our heart and soul the command to not live by bread alone “but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.”
What is the mouth of God? This is the struggle many a person makes to understand how to see God in the Word’s of Salvation what Eternal Life means to those who try and understand. Practice. Pray. Proclaim. Can you see God speak His Truth? If not, then you struggle with communicating with the soul of Salvation expecting Divine diligence when disorder beckons our reactions without our true responses of knowing forgiveness. The Mouth of God speaks to you order set and surrounded by peace trusting Him when things are out of order caused by the tempters release dangling stuff we will accumulate as disordered belief. The God of all speaks of your relief of any and all your grief. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. Silence for the prayers of others dealing with the war in Ukraine. In the Holy Spirit we pray our brothers in Kairos especially a prayer for our men in blue. We pray for our niece Brittany who is a mother of four and 33 years old who had brain cancer stage four now cancer free. We pray for Holy Mother Church. We pray for our Holy Mother. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Jesus then Spirit led to a devil tempted desert
Nights forty days forty fasting for sure
Hungry He was afterwards then tempted procured
Him approached and asked by tempter unobscured
If God’s Son are you
Stones this command to become bread loaves
Replying Jesus said so true
Written it is bread live not by alone
Word also every known
God’s mouth from not mourned
Forth comes grace sown
Dirty devil tempter scorned
