The
Gospel of John Chapter Three Sixteen thru Eighteen
16 For God so
loved the world that he gave his
only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have
eternal life.17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world might be saved through him.18 Whoever believes in him will not be condemned, but whoever
does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the
name of the only Son of God.
The football field where professional athletes were judged
for dropping to their knees to pray yet they don’t punish those who drop to
their knees in protest of an America that is so amazingly free based on the
love of our Savior’s true God his father. I bring up the field of football
today thinking of the times I would always see the sign of someone holding up
John 3:16. I did not come to understand this joyful statement until I began to
believe in the word of God. This is where we must strive to practice, pray and
proclaim daily what it means to be spirit led, God inspired and Christ fed.
Amen
