Universal Utterings for 3-22-2014

I acknowledge my guilt and grieve over my sin. Psalm 38:19

Who is a God like you, who removes guilt and pardons sin for the remnant of his inheritance; Who does not persist in anger forever, but instead delights in mercy. Micah 7:18

Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I no longer deserve to be called your son; treat me as you would treat one of your hired workers. Let us celebrate with a feast, because this son of mine was dead, and has come to life again; he was lost, and has been found. Luke 15:18b-19, 23b-24a

Micah 7:14-20, Psalm 38 & Luke 15:1-32

We acknowledge sin in instant yet battle with the grief instead of celebrating with the Truth. We want God to know us but are unwilling to allow Him First place in the choices we make instead opting for the selfish desires of the heart to replace your first place choice with getting behind the front to waiver in last. Oh, we might have it all; money, car, friends… we could list endless things but that’s just it they are only things. Things God has created to sustain even the birds of the sky yet how much more will He give you if you would give your all to Him? We search for ways to deny creating the reason we die. How can we hide from God? Why does He allow us to cry?

Joy and pain create the same need to feel clean and relieved just as King David constantly acknowledged; his sin and his need for repentance. Micah like David prophesied judgment is the LORD’s repeating the call to repent in the joy of God’s goodness walking humbly in Salvation’s rest of thankful praise for the New Covenant of Love we now celebrate as Truth. Judge not for thou not be judged is God’s Will of harmony amongst the self-will He has given us to choose right or wrong gay or straight lost or found. He is our Knight to protect as He is our Jury to forgive for He is Judge as our Father. Amen.

We ask in prayer. Dear LORD, we pray we acknowledge guilt and repent to affirm our love of Your Truth. Novena prayers day three for special intentions. Prayers for Kairos Prison Ministry of DCI#49. Greg Bishop has our never ending prayers. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. LORD, from Psalm 38:10 I chant, “My Lord, my deepest yearning is before You; my groaning is not hidden from You.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I am surrendered in Christ,

Social Mental Physical Lament – Psalm 38

Wailing with grief

Sin made him weak

David not complete

To God he began to speak

Psalm 38 is this social mental physical lament

Nothing you do will truly prevent

The judgment of God His wrath’s consent

Choose goodness over past ugly offense

God First is Salvation’s Defense
