Wigs Word of God Today Universal Utterings for 10-7-2013

There was a scholar of the law who stood up to test Him and said, “Teacher, what must I do to inherit Eternal Life?” Jesus said to him, “What is written in the Law? How do you read it?” He said in reply, “You shall love the LORD, your God, with all your heart, with all your being, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” He replied to him, “You have answered correctly; do this and you will live.” Luke 10:25-28

Jonah 1:1–2:1, 11, Psalm 23 & Luke 10:25-37

We seem to know but are unwilling to give in to the notion God’s Law is the example of faith, hope and love we are to live by embracing His Charity as the reason we breathe as well as treat our neighbors as our self. I think of this often when I exchange food with my Muslim neighbor as much as I do when I give clothes to my Haitian neighbor or when I take 15 minutes to mow my single man neighbor’s lawn thinking this is how I want to be treated by the people who live around me- as I would myself.

My flagpole in front of my home fly’s the Red, White and Blue on top of a flag that reads “God is Love” showing an open Bible to fly in the loving thy neighbor mode. There are so many ways to “love the LORD, your God, with all your heart, with all your being, with all your strength, and with all your mind” exemplified in the clothes you wear to the stickers across your car God is asking us to acknowledge Him in all you do. Jesus reminds us today, “do this and you will live.” Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray our love for You LORD is shown to everyone we meet especially our neighbors. Novena prayers day eight for John G. MD. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. We pray for Greg Bishop. LORD from Psalm 23:3-4, I chant, “The LORD God restores my soul. He guides me along right paths for the sake of His Name.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me LORD all the days of my life.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Silence in society Satan has stolen your gifts– In Honor of the NJ Emmaus

Maybe you’re sitting in a bed reading your Palancas after a day of Truth
Maybe you’re sitting outside in a lawn chair crying the blues
Maybe you’re thinking “have I paid my dues?”
Where ever you are Christ is your Good News

Emmaus isn’t holier than thou
It’s the here and now not proud
Emmaus is the go to growl
Of life in praise leaving the crowd

Every man you see there in your midst
Is just like you confused from the twist
Silence in society Satan has stolen your gifts
Obedient to Him is the reason we get fixed

Emmaus begins the walk we enjoy
No reason to cry or avoid His Noise
God’s Holy Word directs our daily coy
Risen indeed is the Christ we can’t avoid

Turn to your friends in Christ
The Risen One will always suffice
Indeed He is Risen your lost lonely life
Charity your need along the Way by His price
