Samaria Pass Well of Jacob’s past
The Gospel of John Four Four thru Eight
4 He had to pass through Samaria. 5 So he came to a town of
Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of land that Jacob had given to his son
Joseph. 6 Jacob’s well was there. Jesus, tired from his journey, sat down there
at the well. It was about noon. 7 A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus
said to her, “Give me a drink.” 8 His disciples had gone into the town to buy
food.
There seems to be a real struggle going on here. Everyone
has gone and Jesus has come along in a thirst not seeing a lost soul refreshing
her being but a needy soul choosing Truth over scandal optimizing the day of
need by nourishment of every human demand. Jesus knows this more than we
acknowledge understanding when we do not why she ached over misjudgingly denying
how she would accept to help Him overcome the direness of being thirsty. Once
we see this in Christ then others become lips wet with Sweet Salvation living
what practice, prayer and proclamation calls for when we all thirst for decency
by His love, faith and hope of sharing His Grace of Charity. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord.
I believe You died and rose for me. Prayer intentions. Prayers for our son
Gabriel and Allen Thomas Wiggins. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Silence for the
prayers of others. CORO-19 prayers globally. Holy Mother Church. In Jesus
Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.
