Universal Utterings for 1-20-2014

“Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obedience to the LORD’s command? Obedience is better than sacrifice, to listen, better than the fat of rams. For a sin of divination is rebellion, and arrogance, the crime of idolatry. Because you have rejected the Word of the LORD, the LORD in turn has rejected you as king.” First Samuel 15:22-23

First Samuel 15:16-23, Psalm 127 & Mark 2:18-22

A leadership gone array abusing its power given by God to guide and govern seems an often described consequence of politicians today. People want to create situations of preference for themselves following not God’s commands of Truth rebelling for sin’s self-satisfaction. God asks us to be obedient to living His Word finding forgiveness forming filters to clean out the filth we live amongst everywhere today.

God has taught us to do this nonviolently as the one did we honor today across our great country who formed change by living faith, hope and love for God’s charity. A person who once told his family and friends he hope to be remembered for the people he helped, i.e. clothing the naked, feeding the hungry and visiting the sick and old who can feel naked and hungry for love. Martin Luther King showed the world how to place God First in everything we do not wavering amidst injustice working for inclusion and peace God grants all of humanity. He was obedient are you? Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray for obedience to living Your Word. Novena prayers day eight for Tampa Emmaus. Constant prayers for TD. Greg Bishop has our never-ending prayers. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. LORD from Psalm 127:1, I chant, “Unless the LORD build the house, they labor in vain who build.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Ruler rejected Commands we pray– First Samuel 15:16-23

Obedience will follow
Commands He appoints
The Will of the Father
From all He anoints

Spoil is displeasing
LORD Wills you obey
Sacrifice crime unceasing
Idolatry presumption paid
