The Gospel of John 18 25 thru 27
28 Then they brought Jesus from Caiaphas to the praetorium. It was morning. And they themselves did not enter the praetorium, in order not to be defiled so that they could eat the Passover. 29 So Pilate came out to them and said, “What charge do you bring [against] this man?” 30 They answered and said to him, “If he were not a criminal, we would not have handed him over to you.” 31 At this, Pilate said to them, “Take him yourselves, and judge him according to your law.” The Jews answered him, “We do not have the right to execute anyone,” 32 in order that the word of Jesus might be fulfilled that he said indicating the kind of death he would die.
I saw my neighbor Dan write that “you don’t know until you know then you really know you know.” It’s easy to say we know Jesus but when we really get what Jesus knew and lived for 33 years then we really know Jesus breathed and died for you taking upon his very existence as the Son of God planned before time even began. Many will scoff at the idea of Jesus being God Incarnate unable to recognize the true Messiah in Jesus Christ without seeing constant proof instead of the proof He bore in person to keep us Holy and worthy of living with Him in Life Eternal. God had to become man although He was Divine to humble Himself before us allowing us the opportunity to know what He knows reassuring that “you don’t know until you know then you really know you know.” Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Prayers for our children Gabriel, Julian, Alexandra, Jeffrey and Allen and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Silence for the prayers of others. Tent of the General Jesus brought
Praetorium enter they would stop
Passover eats Jews defiled not
Summoning Pilate Roman ruler of the lot
Man’s charge he would say
Criminal not handed to you
Law yours judge him he would say
Anyone execute right why handed to you
Fulfilling order of death Jesus did say and do
