Ridicule thundered
The Gospel of John Nine 17 thru 28
17 So they said to the blind man again, “What do you have to say about him, since he opened your eyes?” He said, “He is a prophet.” 18 Now the Jews did not believe that he had been blind and gained his sight until they summoned the parents of the one who had gained his sight. 19 They asked them, “Is this your son, who you say was born blind? How does he now see?” 20 His parents answered and said, “We know that this is our son and that he was born blind. 21 We do not know how he sees now, nor do we know who opened his eyes. Ask him, he is of age; he can speak for him self.” 22 His parents said this because they were afraid of the Jews, for the Jews had already agreed that if anyone acknowledged him as the Messiah, he would be expelled from the synagogue. 23 For this reason his parents said, “He is of age; question him.” 24 So a second time they called the man who had been blind and said to him, “Give God the praise!* We know that this man is a sinner.” 25 He replied, “If he is a sinner, I do not know. One thing I do know is that I was blind and now I see.” 26 So they said to him, “What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?” 27 He answered them, “I told you already and you did not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you want to become his disciples, too?” 28 They ridiculed him and said, “You are that man’s disciple; we are disciples of Moses!
I offer my love of His Word as my defense each day looking for His answers to overcome the waste. It’s not easy as age pushes our limits in moments passed without delay but we know we can see just like this blind man replayed the excitement of being liberated by Christ something we prayed enjoying first fruits with His Son as the gift we acclaim no matter the ridicule like a Pharisee lost still to this day. We are free of such thoughts but still acclaim Jesus as Lord each and every day. Thanks for listening to rants to our Lord of our pain and our gain we convey; Jesus is God First living mercy’s replay. Amen.
Join us in our daily prayer of forgiveness. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Prayers for our son Gabriel and Allen Thomas Wiggins. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Silence for the prayers of others. CORO-19 prayers globally. Holy Spirit and St Joseph CC & Holy Mother Church. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**Ridicule thundered**
Pharisees obsession man blind chants
Prophet is He sight gained seeing man rants
Parents would know they thought in advance
Son yours blind born say you both as a stance
Son ours blind born
Now see we learn from his report
Eyes opened how theirs an unknown scorn
Age is he to answer and offer his own retort
Synagogue ejection prevented we’d learn
Blind man’s parents are Jews frightened for their own concern
Times two opened eyes man called to confer
Praise God giving Him all considerations we refer
Man is a sinner
Law breaker we say
Sabbath working splinter
Thorn of the day
Know not if Jesus is an offender
Man blind until this day would say
Know do I this amazing colorful splendor
I’ll see first non-believers no matter the word play
Eye opened how they asked again
Listening not seems like then would be sin
Already you told Pharisees wouldn’t rescind
Too become disciples he answered with a grin
Ridicule thundered
You Him seen
Replying without sanity’s blunder
Moses disciples are we, see
